Story submissions
When you submit an application to share your story, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
You are providing your information voluntarily for the purpose of being considered for participation in Life in Context content
Submission does not create any obligation on Life in Context to feature, film, or publish your story
Life in Context reserves the right to accept or decline any application at its sole discretion, without explanation
Any information you submit may be reviewed by members of the Life in Context production team
If selected to participate, a separate release agreement will govern the specific rights relating to your story, image, voice, and likeness. No filming will take place without that agreement being signed
No guarantees
Life in Context makes no representations or warranties of any kind regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content on this site. Nothing on this site constitutes legal, medical, financial, or professional advice of any kind.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Life in Context, its founders, team members, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this website, your reliance on any content found here, or your participation in the application process. This includes but is not limited to loss of data, loss of income, or emotional distress.
Indemnification

Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 days, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). Arbitration shall take place in the state in which Life in Context operates. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding on both parties. You agree that you will not bring any claim as part of a class action, and you waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit against Life in Context.
Termination
Life in Context reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to this website at any time, for any reason, at our sole discretion and without prior notice. This includes removing any content submitted through the site. Termination of access does not affect any provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination, including but not limited to intellectual property rights, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these Terms shall continue in full force and effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Life in Context operates. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
